Some people: classmates and teachers from the ILCL were interviewed. The people who took part in this interview were Miss Olaya Vázquez; also, Constanza Ureta, Catalina Olavarría, Patricia Rivera, all of them classmates of our program. This proyect took place at Sausalito Campus, PUCV. The interview was based on two main questions which make reference to the British culture and what did the interviewers know about it.
First, we asked them what they related with the British culture, as a brainstorm of the principal ideas that came to their minds. The second question was related with the relation between those "British icons" that they mentioned and our culture. It's important to higlight that British culture has an impact in our culture in many aspects. Maybe we don't speak the same language, but we still keep many British traditions and in a way we change them according to our culture.
Art, literature, food and music, in general, are some of the influences that our interviewers related to the impact of British culture on us, but still are many left, as football, for example, which was played during the Victorian Age; or the industries, England, as we know, was the first place where the Industrial Revolution took place.
But we want to know more... According to your own view, what other British aspects have influenced our culture?

I think one of the most important British aspects that have influenced our culture is music. While we were doing this project and recording the videos, I noticed that the vast majority of the students interviewed frequently named the most important bands and world-renowned, like Queen, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, etc. These bands, like many others, have had a strong impact on Chilean culture and year after year are increasingly valued and respected for the undeniable talent and musical quality that had each of them.
